I tried to make a Minecraft server in multiplayer but i don't get what to do! You give the server a name, but what is srever address? How do I make a multiplayer server? Please Help!

We have minecraft on connected kindles, so the way it usually works for us is if one person is on, the person can get that same world on their own list. The sever is probably just a wi-fi network.
The server address is what you type into the add server option to add the server. The server address should be your router's IP. Note: You must have the router port-forwarded for this to work. To learn how to port forward, there's plenty of info on Google. The Hostname… Well sorry i got nothing.
For the server name put whatever you want to nickname the server
Bro thats JOINING a server. I'm guessing your new at this? To get a server just go to youtube 4 help. If you want to join one look up server IPS. Btw it dosent matter what you name the server
