Sometimes also I try to move and it places me back to the same spot, I also have a little block lag. So please help I don't know what to do i have a pretty good laptop, a gaming laptop
How to reduce Minecraft multiplayer lag? - 1
That's a server problem. Unless you're the one hosting the games, you can't do anything about it.
In terms of lag, it's most likely your connection between you & the server you're connecting to. There's really not much that can be done since you really can't control where the server is located. The best tips, in general (for any online multiplayer games) would be…
* Try to connect to a server that is physically close to you in real life. -- The shorter the physical distance between you & the server, the less hops (pass from routing computers) your data needs to take, which reduces lag.
* Try to connect to servers located in major cities -- The main reason why many major online servers are located in major cities (like New York, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angles, Seattle, ect.) is that there's a lot of online infrastructure to support connections. If a server is located practically in the middle of nowhere, there's going to be a fair number of hops to connect to it as you're likely dealing with one ISP routing the data.
* Try to avoid crowded servers -- This might be a potential issue, but lag can tend to increase as the number of connected player increases since the server has to divide it's resources among everybody. A good server will have enough resources to minimize this issue, but more private servers that overextend their resources (by allowing more players than what it can support) can seriously cause problems.
Beyond that, there's not much you can do. Hope this helps!
In this case itand#x27;s all about bandwidth and internet connectivity, try ensuring that no other devices are using the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop but other than that there's not really much you can do, the only other thing would be to get faster internet
