Minecraft sky factory 3 server problem?

Hi i'm trying to set up a minecraft sky factory 3 server that i can play with friends. I set it up and localhost works but my ip isntt working help.

Have you port forwarded? If you haven't forwarded your port then nobody can connect to it outside of your network. Minecraft needs port 25565 to be open for your server to work.
