How do I change the version of the server client my Minecraft server is currently running on, it need to be 1.8.1 to be able to play on but my friend is having issues entering Minecraft 1.8.1, so I wanna make my server 1.7.10, how do i do this.

Here is a 1.7.10 server, but there's a chance it won't be super stable. If you want to play vanilla, then just don't add any plugins.
