While i was in a server i saw that in their hall of fame there were dummies of the original who had the name of the original ID,
They do exactly look like the person i.e. Have the same skin and they are stationary and so they are good for display, but how do you build one of those?

Its a server plugin, I'd say its http://dev.bukkit.org/...s/statues/ You might need to be a Staff member of the server (Mod - Admin+) to place statues tho, Unless the server allows you to place them, If you know the right / command.
