Looking for a PC minecraft server?

My friend and I are looking for a minecraft survival server. I used to play on one where you were given a land lot and just build on that lot and had trading areas. Anyone know a server like this?

My friend has just opened his server which has the minigame "plot" (the game you are referring to) and other games! I think that particular game might still be in beta testing but you should still check it out!
