I tried to make a Minecraft server, but now minecraft doesn't work?

I tried using the server maker on minecraft.net and did all the instructions but now when ever i try to open minecraft the launcher doesn't open.

Well there can be multiple things wrong and with the lack of information all i can say is uninstall your java then restart your computer and install java and install java se runtime environment. I don't really know why but the se runtime environment helps me start the server and minecraft
