I downloaded the hamachi after downloading minecraft server 1.7.2 and then i run it from the ip that hamachi gives me and i can see it in multiplayer but other people no my friend tried to join but it says unknown host like the server can't be found and i check up for his ip and its spelled correctly and now i'm adding the server to a site so ppl join it it says the server is not online and i'm in it from multiplayer any help?

You need to make a group in hamatchi and give them the deetails. Also in the server folder there should be a server.properties file (if not run the server once). You need to open it with notepad then type your ip where it says server-ip

You have to create a network, and then give the network ID and password to your friends so that they can join it. Once they have joined your network, they should be able to join your server (Make sure you give them your ipv4 address from hamachi! NOT ipv6!). Also make sure your hamachi ipv4 is written in your Server.properties (where it says "Server-ip").
Why don't you just Port forward? It's so much easier.
