I'm trying to port forward Minecraft for my new 1.7.2 CraftBukkit server but when I access 192.168.1.1 in Mozilla Firefox, it says "The connection has timed out". This always happens when I access that IP. My Linksys router is connected to my Windows 8 32-bit desktop and my Globe Tattoo modem and is a WRT54G ver.7 router. Also, I have made my IP address static as http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54G/Minecraft_Server.htm said that the IP should be static first.
How to access my Linksys router settings?

Not enough info… We have no clue how your network is configured.

Give the command "ipconfig" on your PC and see what the default gateway address is.

Wire any computer to the router and go to the command prompt (search CMD, if you don't how)
On the command prompt, type ipconfig, look for the default gateway (by default it's 192.168.1.1 )
default password is admin, leave the username blank.
