Have I portforwared wrong for minecraft btw hub 3?

Ok this how I port forward my bt hub
I went to bthomehub.home, I went to advance settings then I went to port forwarding. I then went to supported apps then add game. I called it minecraft I checked don't copy.
I set all the rows for tpc 25565 and the same for udp.
I clicked add for both then apply
I went back to first slide then I selected minecraft and I selected the pc the server was hosted on then add, apply.
I then went to whatsmyip. Org and wrote the ip down.
I went to the folder the server was in and in the server and entered the port ad 25565
I launched the server and tried to join with the what's my ip
Ip yet it said
Java.net connectionexception: connection timed out no further information
/then the ip
Yet with my pc ip4 addresses I joined fine.
But my friend can't join both. Ip s

Don't do " I went to the folder the server was in and in the server and entered the port ad 25565 "… Leave that blank.

Also you need to port forward with the windows firewall as well.

To join with the WAN (Public) IP from inside your LAN your router would need to support loopback.

If your friend is not on your LAN he should use the whatismyip IP address.

Firewall is likely the issue though.
