I literally just got Minecraft twenty minutes ago. I was exploring the menu and hit multiplayer. Up popped a message saying my firewall was blocking something. I accidentally clicked cancel and it disappeared before I could read it. Now when I go to multiplayer it says "looking for servers on local network" but never finds anything. Did I mess something up? If so, what is the solution?
Did I block Minecraft servers?

No. You have to add a server (get some from here http://minecraft-server-list.com/ ) and then when you try to join it should ask again. If it doesn't, open control panel, search firewall in the search box, click allow a windows program through firewall, scroll down and check everything that has java in it. Hope it helped.

The reasons no servers are showing up is because you need to click add server and put a server ip address, for example lets say you want to play on mineplex you would go to add server and where it says server address you would type us.mineplx.com or eu.mineplex.com (depending on reigon). If that doesn't work then i have no idea what's your problem
