Can I bind a minecraft server to the HTTPS port?

My school blocks all ports but HTTPS and 22/23, I think. Is it possible to bind a server to the HTTPS port in order to play on a minecraft server? We do have LAN throughout the school, but when I'm on a laptop which isn't connected to the ethernet connection, but the wireless, the LAN doesn't work. So is there any way that I can bind to port 80? Whenever I do I get "FAILED TO BIND TO PORT" because the computer is already communicating through the HTTPS port and I can't bind to it, but is there a way to bypass that?

You can't play minecraft and be smart at the same time.

Whoever is running the server will have to designate the specific port to connect to (check the server settings & instructions on how to do this). Port 80 (which is for HTTP protocols) & Port 443 (HTTPS) will be in use with web browsers… So it's NEVER a good option.

As for Ports 22 & 23 are more for telnet or text-based communications between computers… Which are more antiquated protocols by today's standards & could cause problems if you try to force it on those ports.

Please be aware that attempting to bypass your school's firewall / proxy settings could result in your school's IT admin to increase restrictions, making it harder for you (& everybody) to enjoy the game on your school's network.
