I rented a game from Redbox and now i want to digitally install it. Will i still have my saved data?

I rented Minecraft PS3 Version from Redbox and now i want to digitally install it, but i'm not sure if my saved data will still be there.

Yes, the save will be on the hard drive from the last time you played, if you get the digital copy from psn you can delete the game data if you want because the install from the disc is not needed.
you'll just get updates installed as game data
