I have mincraft ps3 edition full vesion, should i have a premium account to play it?

I wanna know. Should and what does the premium account unlock for me?

What do you mean by premium account? (PlayStation Plus?) If so, I do not have PlayStation Plus and I can play the PS3 edition fine without it. There's DLC that can be purchased for the game (texture packs and skin packs) but I'm not sure if you get anything extra with PlayStation plus.

A Premium account is a full PC version of Minecraft. It has nothing to do with the console versions of the game.
