Hi. I just purchased minecraft ps4 edition and would like to transfer my ps3 worlds across, how can i do that? It tells me to press square to dowload ps3/ps vita saves but when i do it says "there's no save available in the save transfer area at the moment. You can upload a world save to the save transfer area using minecraft playstation 3 edition or vita, and then download it with minecraft playstation 4 edition". I went onto my ps3 version and there's no option to put a world in a save transfer area. If you have had this problem before and can help me, i would much appreciate it.
How to transfer minecraft worlds from ps3 to ps4?
Has anyone heard of when this update will be available?
The PS3 version needs to be updated first. When the PS3 version has been updated with the ability to upload saves, you will then have to upload your save and then download it in the PS4 version
I may be of assistance to answer your question correctly.
There are two ways of doing this, it just depends which version of Minecraft on PS3 you have.
If you have a digital copy of the game on PS3, then you first need to log into the PlayStation Store using you PlayStation 4 system first, find Minecraft PS4 Edition, then upgrade it from there to the Minecraft PS4 Edition for $4.99. Next you are going to sign into your PS4 System using the same SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) details to begin the Minecraft PS3 to PS4 Edition transferring process.
If you have a physical copy of Minecraft on PS3, then it should have come with an entitlement code allowing you to make the transfer to PS4 that way. If you are still stuck please feel free to visit us at http://www.ps4.sx/2014/09/how-to-transfe…
Where we will be more than happy to help you further with your query.
