How to become a gamer if you are poor?

Well, I'm kind of poor. But I still wanna become a gamer. Can you please help me. I love playing games but I just don't have anything to chose from. There are mobile games, and I can afford them. But there just isn't any games I want(well there's many good games, but I don't wanna play angry bird as a pc game. I would need something more solid and more like pc games, for example, Pewdiepie: Legend of the brofist, Final fantacy etc.). What can I do? I don't have a good pc, only a 5 year old laptop just to browse the web(it can run games like minecraft, but cmon). And I don't own a console. Can you please help me? Just for comparasion most people get about 300 euro a month so I can't buy a ps4 or even a weak gaming pc.
Bonus question: In my case I can buy something like nintendo ds3. But games are expensive so I could not play alot of them. But is something like nintendo ds (the first console in ds series) worth it? Games are cheaper so its better for me. But the problem is I can't play 3ds games on it. And other option is to get psp(haven't really done alot of research about it so I don't know is it a good choice). So what should I chose?

Added (1). Just for comparasion most people get about 300 euro a month so I can't buy a ps4 or even a weak gaming pc.
I meant that most people IN MY COUNTRY get 300 euro. Well we where a part of soviet union so in comparasion we're doing well.

I know this is an obscure concept in this day and age but did you ever think about perhaps working for something you want, around here Lawns need to be mowed, snow to be shoveled. Adds up eventually, instead of expecting something for nothing.

I had the same problem, I did something though, I GOT A GOOD JOB, I kno that sounds like a dock but hear me out

Humble Bundle is always an option to get games for cheap and donate to charity. You can pay whatever you want for some basic games, then there's an average amount people have given to get more games. Www.humblebundle.com

Don't listen to Josh. He's a thief.

Anyway, emulation is a good route to take to enjoy MANY classics.

But yeah, getting a job or doing various oddjobs is a good way to get the things you want.

Better buy a cheap lap top, dell lap tops are kinda cheap and can run lots of games… You can wait some months untiul you have enough money for something better

Look for dated, but good games and look for sales, but don't get every game that looks good on sale (use moderation); also there's often cheap indie games for less than 50 cents each on Steam most of the time

Step 1. Get a job.
Step 2. Buy what you need.
Step 3. Get bored of gaming.
Step 4. Drop gaming.
Step 5. Cry.

Try to find a job if you're old enough, or you can just become Youtube famous and earn money through Youtube just like everyone else is doing.

You can just play these free games like Dota and League of Legends to start off with

Start out with Emulators and ROMs. Practice playing the older games that are online for free. Not only will you be playing classics, the hardness of the older games and lower graphics will help you appreciate the current gen games being easier on your eyes and fingers.
Screw around with the older SNES, Genesis, Saturn, etc ROMs that you can find. Somebody online will get sentimental and watch you play it. Make a let's play and just talk about life and stuff while you play it. Talk about your job, your school, jokes, and of course, the game.
Because it's relatively unique to play the old games, it's cheap, it's legal, it's good practice, and it's making use of neglected resources.
