Doesn't want to play multiplayer on Minecraft ps3?

PSN is under maintenance currently.

I had to connect an hdmi cable and switch the tv to hdmi input. It would not multiplayer by using the old standard red, white, yellow connectors to TV. 12 bucks at walmart will get you a decent hdmi cable. Hope this helps.
