Can I switch between survival and creative mode in Minecraft Ps3 edition?

I wana make a pvp arena but it would take too long in survival so I was wondering if there's a way to switch between creative and survival. I'm only going to use the world for pvp fight s against my friends so I need to switch between the two modes.

Yes you can. Start off in creative, save the world. When you get on the page where you open up worlds click on the arena you made then, change creative to survival. Open up and THERE! You may switch back and fourth as much times as posible
