I just installed the most recent update as of August 3rd. I don't play frequently, yet decided to give the game a go regardless, given the update. I was surprised to learn that jukeboxes and music discs were added to the game. In survival after having a skeleton kill a creeper, I got a music disc. After placing it in a jukebox, all that I saw was a few colorful notes emerging from the thing. I waited and even tried again a few times. No music. Is this a bug/glitch of sorts? I was looking forward to in game music potentially making Minecraft more enjoyable to play.

In case as of now you don't know how to fix it, DOWNLOAD THE OFFICIAL MUSIC PACK IN THE MARKETPLACE. It will implement the 12 .ogg files of the music discs.

Yea my music isn't working either. I have downloaded the music pac multiple times and turned my sounds/music up and down seeing which one would work. ALL I WANT IS TO LISTEN TO CAT
