Ok so on this minecraft server I found out the owner was pocketing money while he said it was all goinf directly to the server. Is this fraud or no?

Hosting a server cost money so probably it is going to for the server eventually.

It probably wasn't all going to the server, It depends though servers can be pretty expensive ($10-$100 a month even higher for larger servers)
