I'm just curious as to how they are different to the PC version. What are their ups/downs, what makes them better than PC edition, what makes them worse, what's dramatically worse etc.
Don't include 'it's portable' for Pocket Edition since the Vita version is portable too and it's the same as PS3 version
Would you recommend me getting Minecraft PE or Minecraft PS3 (Vita) edition, or both
The only way to experience Minecraft is on the PC.
Good thing about PC: You can use mods and texture packs.
It's easier to get people to join your server.
More people play on PC.
Bad thing about PC: You need a good PC.
Some people dislike mouse/kb
Good thing about PS3/PE: Its' on a home console
You can play with your friends
Has everything from PC Minecraft
Bad thing about PS3/PE: You can ONLY play with ppl on your friends list
The world is smaller

1. Items and features that do not exist in the ps3 version (horses, villager trading, command blocks, hoppers ect) but this will be fixed with future updates.
2.Worlds are bigger which can be a CON depending on your personal preference.

1. If you don't like keyboard and move when playing games, I feel more comfortable with the ps3 controller, also why I don't own an xbox the controller is just to clumpy. But many would find this a PRO.
[PS3 PRO'S]
1. Small maps make it possible to completely fill the entire are of the map with your creations.
2. MP games are smaller and anyone can basically run their own server/game where they are the boss very easily.
3. An easy platinum.
4. If you never played before you get to experience what it was like in the beginning and see what it was like for the rest of us before all the updates.
[PS3 CON'S]
1. NO MODS
2. Updates are taking forever so if you have played minecraft before you feel kind of limited as to what you can do until the game is updated.
3. Even though the map is limited it continues past the border so if a creeper explodes and destroys that part of the map you can fix it and unless you build a wall you can walk right around the edge
4.MP games are limited so if you have more friends then the limited number they'll have to take turns.
