Pc overheating on minimalistic games?

I have had this pc for 4 months and was perfect to begin with it even on just simple internet browsing or doing work would stay at around 30 degrees and playing games it would max out at around 50 degrees

all of a sudden even playing games such as minecraft or war thunder it shoots up to 60,70 degrees and then eventually automatically shuts down and i'm running my pc on powersaver fully now to minimalize the chance of it overheating

my processor is a amd FX 8320 and I'm using a standard heatsync, 2 fans and my case is a zalman z11

the heatsync at most times runs at around 3000rpm but when my processor hits 40 degrees it shoots up to 4000, 5000 rpm

is this a faulty processor? I really hope not because I did buy it off amazon and it didn't get warrantee but was still expensive for me

I take it you're talking Celsius temperature here. 60 to70 degrees Celsius is over 150 degrees Fahrenheit. That's hot! Have you ever performed any cleaning maintenance on it at all? The vents need to be free of dust/dirt and the fan blades need to be free of all dust/dirt too. The usually method is to use "canned"
( compressed ), air to blow air through the vents and hopefully remove dust/dirt from the fan blades. If the dust/dirt gets "caked" up on the fan blades, you just about have to take the cover off of the desktop tower to get to the fans to clean them by hand. The blades are delicate, so you must be careful if you decide to do this. A small hand held vacuum can also be used to clean the vents. If you open the tower, be sure to ground yourself to the metal frame to discharge any static electricity. There are special "mini" tool sets that attach to the vacuum cleaner for getting into small spaces and your keyboard. Also make sure the CPU has good thermal paste on it. That can cause over heating.
