Minecraft transfer to another PC?

Alright. Here is the pickle i'm caught in.

I have a computer running Windows 7 that has internet connection and minecraft, I also have a Windows Vista computer that does not have Wi-Fi or minecraft. I have a 2 gb SD card and i tried to get the minecraft.net version and the Anjo Cadio version, and neither seem to work. Am i doing something wrong?

Any suggestions? And, aside from the other question, are their any products that can allow my pc to gain Wi-Fi connection?

Cheap pc for gaming, buy new or upgrade?

I don't have much money at the moment I only have around £200, but I want to have a better pc to play games on, games like minecraft, TF2, Civ 5, Dawn Of War. At the moment i can onlty play on minecraft on the lowest settings using OptiFine and still can only play on a maximum of about 15 fps.

I don't know much about my computer as it was my friends old one that he gave to me. All I know about it's specs is that it has an AMD Sempron(tm) Processor LE-1250. I don't know anything else unfortunately.

I want to know if I should buy a new computer or by parts to upgrade my current one. And what computer I could buy for £200 to £400 that would be good enough. Or If upgrading would be better what stuff I should buy.

Please any help would be appreciated.

What laptop would you recommend for?

A student who uses Adobe Photoshop cs6, Adobe Illustrator cs6, Adobe Premier cs6, watches lots of movies/tv shows and does a bit of gaming (nothing serious, just stuff like Sims3 and Minecraft). I use Photoshop daily, and Premier every once in a while (for school).

I would like it to be light - I have to cart it around school for 8 hours a day five days a week. It's not necessary, but it is preferable.

I'm currently using a Vaio, but the screen is broken and goes black when it's above 60 degrees, so I need to prop the base up with something so I can see the screen properly.

I would also need it to have an optical drive… Unless I should buy a portable one…

Also, I prefer Windows 7. I don't like Windows 8 or Apple

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Any recommendations?

Oh, also, do you think the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro would be a good idea?

How to convert a 1.4 minecraft world to 1.7?

I finally found an old save file I thought I lost when I had to reformat my computer. My wife and daughter are getting into Minecraft now and wanted to show them the world I had spent so much effort making.

I think its from the 1.4 era (wolves had just been new). I drop it into my.minecraft/saves folder with the other worlds, and can see it. It says last played 3.31.11 and Must be converted!

However, when I select Play the game crashes out and when I select Re-Create the game crashes out.

I noticed that the folder with my world has slightly different files than the worlds I created via 1.7, but adding copies of those files to my old world's folder does not make it playable.

Why do i get paranoid when i'm tired?

Whenever i get really tired late at night (usually somewhere around 1-2 am) i get really paranoid about things, its something different every time with no pattern, one time i sincerely thought that slenderman was in my closet, other times i worry about monsters from minecraft, usually creepers and zombies in my room and around corners, a common one is spiders (not minecraft spiders, actual spiders) being that i'm highly arachnophobic, i don't know why but paranoia always hits when i'm really tired, a lot of the time (like right now) i get so scared of irrational things that i can't even get to sleep, can someone please help me with my paranoia &/or explain it? Is there a way to cope or get over it? Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated, thanks!

Minecraft X-box 360: Why am I unable to activate an End Portal I created?

I have the latest version on Minecraft on my X-box 360 (as of December 2013). While in creative mode I have tried numerous times to create and activate an End Portal with nothing happening. I tried removing one block and replacing it, I've tried creating it one block above the ground, and Iv also tried searching the internet for hours (including the Minecraft forums) with no luck in finding a reason for this problem. I watched videos online to make sure I was building it correctly, and I even found an End Portal in a stronghold that i was able to activate and go through… Yet when I build one myself, I can't get anything to happen at all.

If anyone has even the slightest idea on how I could fix this issue, I would really appreciate it. I'm currently building a map from scratch that I intend to play with friend as a long adventure to reach The End. Unfortunately I can't finish it without an End Portal to take us there… Lol.
