My Minecraft Forge (1.7.2) won't start up?

I have Java 1.8 and when I try playing on Forge the launcher closes, but the game never shows up.

That is a problem with mods older than 1.7.10 Try getting the 1.7.10 version of forge and the mod. Also make sure the mod is forge compadable.
