Which Texture Looks Like A Better Ingot Block For A Mod I'm An Artist For?

I'm the artist for the CrystalMod(https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/crystalmod) which is an awesome Minecraft mod. I have created two different textures for a good 'ingot block'. Please tell me which one looks best and maybe a description of why. Say "1" or "2".

1 but with the dark lines the shade of those in 2 or at least lighter. It will be the best of both worlds.
