I want to download mods and i tried going to the file page and searching minecraft but it says nothing can be found. I'm looking for the.minecraft file.

Click start and Type in %appdata%
That will take you to your roaming file where you will see. Minecraft

Click start ad type run.
in the small box that apears type in %appdata%
the explorer window pens.
click on roaming and the first folder should be a.minecraft
P.S. Acer laptop doesn't mean anything to most people. State OS so we can know if you r using linux or windows
