What softwear and equipment?

I really wanna start a youtube channel like a minecraft channel because sky and deadlox and team crafted inspired me to do it so I was wondering what softwear records my screen well (I have a Apple Mac btw) and maybe some good headphones and microphone? Not costing so much Also how do you download mc mods cus I've never done it and I'd love to do a episode on a modded cops and robbers with my friends Thanks ^~^
