Umm so i've seen on YOGSCAST that when they want to find an item they type it ito a bar under their inventory and it comes up at the side. If you know what i'm talking about could you tell me the name of the mod?

Several r like that i think the 1 the yogscast use is not enough items
there's also too many items
or just get the tekkit launcher, ftb launcher adn atl launhcer for minecraft then play the 3 yogscast mod packs, yogbox, yogcraft and yogscast complete/ moonquest

It's not enough items, not Too many items. You can also press r while hovering over and object and it will tell you how to make it. There's also a mod that you can get with it that will tell you which mod every object comes from.

The one they are using is NEI, or Not Enough Items. It is an almost vital mod when you are going to be using multiple mods as it allows you to look up many recipes, see where monsters spawn, and in cheat mode do several other things.
There's a very close competitor called Too Many Items, but the Yogspack uses NEI.
