Minecraft: Can you/How to install a 1.7.2 mod on forge 1.7.10?

I'm starting a LOTR adventure map on minecraft. I have forge 1.7.10 because it requires it. Also, besides the LOTR mod, I have the 1.7.10 backpacks mod.

Is it possible to install a 1.7.2 mod, Mapwriter, on 1.7.10 forge? If so, how?
