So I'm going to buy a laptop and I want to be able to play some games on it. The games I d like to play are at least Garry s mod, I really would like to be able to run minecraft, and sims 3 or 4. The most I d be willing to pay is around $200-$250. Any suggestions?

Laptops overheat when playing high end games.
You want a GOOD Laptop for playing games. Alienware are the best. That is what Sheldon Cooper uses.
But you will pay big bucks for one. Over $2000.00

Well ya see the thing is I'm a broke teenager i'm not asking for everyone to tell me that price doesn't match with good gaming I just want a suggestion as to what's the BEST for gaming at that price

Your budget is quite low. You are pretty much limited to only used laptops. You can easily find a $250 used laptop to play the sims and minecraft.
just search ebay, craigslist and any other sites for used laptops. Try to find something with a core 2nd/3rd/4th gen i3/i5 cpu and a discrete graphics card (like a nvidia GT730M/820M). That would be more than enough for your needs.
