I have minecraft 1.7.2 Is there any way to revert back to 1.6.4?

I want to revert back so I can add the forge mod and start playing pixelmon. Or is there anyway to play pixelmon with 1.7.2? Help mere revert please.

Added (1). I already tripled checked for any updates for forge and pixelmon. There seems to be none, and even if there was for one of them, it would take quite some time for the others to update.

See if there's a 1.7.2 update for pixelmon.
Otherwise in the minecraft launcher, create a New Profile, and set the game version to 1.6.4 and reinstall forge and pixelmon

Yes tekkit and there's an option to change it

Yes you can revert back when you open minecraft go to edit profile then at use version you change the version
