One day i turned on my computer and my desktop backround was gone and my files were all scattered including my minecraft files, instead of being in.minecraft they were in m user files. Now i can't use mods from my favorite website. How do i move them back? I've already tried completely deleting minecraft and re-installing it and it didn't work.

Delete the whole.minecraft. Folder then open minecraft again. It will be completly new and you will have to install your mods again. Hope this helps.
