Modloader 1.1 is crashing Minecraft?

Ok, so first copy your minecraft.jar, now after it's backed up somwhere outside of the minecraft bin delete the whole Bin file for minecraft. Load up minecraft and it will give you a new fresh minecraft.jar file. Before installing any mod you must delete your meta-inf in minecraft.jar (below instrucs how to open it), this will enable mods to work properly, if this is not deleted it will not work.next add modloader, to do this open your minecraft.jar with winrar, then open up modloader with winrar. Copy the all the files inside modloader and dump them in your minecraft jar (you have to open minecraft.jar with either winrar or 7zip. Ok now start minecraft, if it works congrats, again make a back up, now this time do the same thing for too many items, check if it works and if it does copy and replace your old back-up. Now just clay soldiers, after all three are done like this your done.
