I ran into a similar issue but it was on a nvidia 750ti card. I had to uninstall the drivers and re-install. This (along with a pc restart) Worked for me. Can you try the same and see?

Revert your graphics card driver back to the most stable, don't use the beta drivers. If that doesn't work then delete your.minecraft folder and do a clean install. Remember to save your files. If that doesn't work then your world is probably just not finish rendering in.

Don't panic, try restarting your world and giving it some time. Put down some torches near the affected areas to force the game to do a block update and fix the rendering.
If that doesn't work, then revert your drivers to the most stable state. Unstable drivers can cause rendering issues with games.
