Minecraft Super Secret Settings Reset?

I tried clicking on the Super Secret Settings in MC 1.7.2 and it gave me a weird shader. I tried clicking it tons of times but it won't change. I went to YouTube where i learned to press F4. It didn't work, and i pressed it tons more times to no avail. What do i do?

Note: it doesn't change on every click, in fact it took me like 50 clicks just to get on the shader setting i wanna get rid of

Restarting does not work. Why is this such a complicated task? I guess the people over at mojang didn't think this through. I was looking forward to playing today but I can't get the screen back to normal. What was this setting added for anyways? Has to be something other than stupidity.
