Everytime i die, i will spawn at the place where i first spawned (as i started the save).
the place where i made my home is a bit far away from that and it sucks to walk all the way there.
without having cheats on, is there a way to "set the spawn place" to a location i desire? Can i change the coordinates somehow?
if not, give me an alternative i can try so i don't have to walk so far.
Create a bed, and sleep in it at night. Then everytime you die, you will spawn at your bed.
Just be warned that if you sleep in your bed, and then get rid of the bed to place it somewhere else, you will re-spawn at the beginning again.
You can put a bed in your house and sleep in it to set your spawnpoint. If you are unable to get the resources for a bed you can make a railway using minecarts and minecart rails. If you can't get the items for that, then all you can do is turn cheats on and type /setworldspawn while standing in your house. You could also build a mini house at your spawn point where you can hide out until the morning if you die during the night.
