I would really like to know where you find those mobs… And maybe an extra question? I was walking through the forest (on minecraft) and saw a house, and I hadn't made it, so I walked towards it. Once inside, I knew straight away tat this was a villager house, but WHERE WERE THE VILLAGERS? I scoured the area, looking for a library or blacksmiths (I revised before I bought the game. And found…: nothing. I walked back to the house and still no villagers. Can anyone tell me, where were they? From iFudgeCake xxx (my minecraft username)xxx
Minecraft: Hi guys I would really like to know, where do you find villagers, ocelots and wolves?
I'm going to go ahead and edit onto what Byron said + give more crucial details:
Villagers are in villages. Villages can be found mainly in the plains biome. I'm guessing you know what a plains biome is.
Ocelots are found in jungle biomes. BUT BE AWARE: they are naturally "scared" of players. Meaning they will run away on sight. So use the sneak key, and don't get near.
Wolves are mainly found in the taiga biome. THEY ARE NOT FOUND EVERYWHERE, contrary to what Byron said. If you want to tame them, give them bones. It might take multiple bones to tame them, but you will know if they are by the "love" animation that they give off.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Wolves are hostile when you attack them, and they do not give experience. Do not attack wolves for any reasons.
Ocelots CAN be tamed to cats, yes, it's true. However this process is more complicated than it sounds. Ask in another question.
Finally, not all villages might be large. Some are rather disappointing. I once ran across a single water well, and that was it. The entire village.
I'm pretty good at minecraft and i could give you some good tips.
1. You find villagers in a village. Villages are pretty uncommon, but you could look up some good seeds to find one.
2. Ocelots are almost always in jungles and rarely in plains area. Beware though, they are very timid and if you go too fast they'll run away. You need raw fish to tame them
3. Wolves can be found anywhere. Mostly in winter areas, forests and plains. Pretty uncommon in jungles. You need bones to tame them.
4. Also, wolves need to be fed or they starve to death.
5. Ocelots keep creepers away (i have no clue why…)
6. Wolves Attack things you attack or attack things that are attacking you with the exception of creepers.
(reply to what fng said) yes they are found mostly everywhere, though are not always there, and this I know. Some biomes there are none I know this, i said mostly everywhere
