Minecraft grasp recording issues?

I have grasp and sometimes it works

On Minecraft. But sometimes it ell: freeze when I start recording, says Java has stopped working, etc. I tried allocationng ram but it didn't work. I need help, I have windows 8. How do I stop these issues?
