I bought a HP Envy 360 laptop. It came installed with Minecraft and I was wondering if there was any way I could play it without paying the like $26 for it. Considering I just spent almost $1100 for the laptop and Microsoft office stuff I think it should be included? I would like to play but I also don't want to really download it from a sketchy website plus it came installed already.

I doubt Minecraft was already installed on your laptop as you got the demo version. Did you buy your laptop off of a third party seller?

No, you can't get it for free, what you're seeing is them simply advertising it as they now own Minecraft. They're not giving it to you for free
