Before you go wild buying new games for your new laptop:
Check the Video Graphics, many games fail without the right card.
If you have Windows 8 you should expect to have problems getting older games to run.
Examples:
San Andreas Video Graphics PC Specs:
Recommended: 128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better)
It can get by with the Minimum:
64MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce3" or better)
Skyrim Video Graphics Specs:
Minimum: •Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM
Recommended: •DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM (Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher).
Try team fortress 2 on steam, its a free multiplayer shooting game, War Thunder is where you have planes and destroy enemys stuff, also free and on steam. The last game you should try is planetside 2 its AMAZING, it has really HD graphics (Comparable to COD or battlefield games) its a shooting game with a huge map with jets, 4 wheelers, ETC and I don't really know what to do on it because I only get 20 or so FPS playing it, this is also a free game on steam.
