My little sister is playing and we watched many videos and the person presses start and it always comes up for it to work but when we get on minecraft and they press start on the second controller nothing happens. Any ideas?

Make sure you have an hdmi cable hooked up and have your settings to atleast 480 p but i have 1080p.
