May have messed up with CCleaner?

So a few days ago I used CCleaner to clean my computer. It ended up cleaning unused file extensions.

Anyway, when I go to open up Eclipse, it gives me a "Could not create Java Virtual Machine" error message. Would have cleaning unused file extensions messed that up? The same thing happens with minecraft now as well.

How do I fix this issue, specifically with Eclipse?

I'm not really sure if that's the reason that your games can't load, but i know one reason that it might say "Could not create Java Virtual Machine". It is because the game can't use as much RAM as it needs. I don't know about Eclipse, but i know that in Minecraft you have to:
- Open your Minecraft launcher (log in to your account but don't click "Play" yet).
- Go to profile settings.
- Go down where it says "JVM Arguments" (if the JVM Arguments isn't checked, check it)
- So… Probably it will be "-Xmx2G". So, 2G means that Minecraft is supposed to be using 2 gigs of RAM. We have to reduce it. Change the "G" to "m" (2G = 2000m) and try to reduce it (eg. 1900m) If it keeps saying "Could not create Java Virtual Machine", then keep reducing the number (eg. 1500m, 1300m).
- When you find an amount of RAM that Minecraft can use, just start playing.

If all else fails try System Restore.
