It was yesterday when I was on my windows 7 acer desktop playing Minecraft. I just got off of it when a "Microsoft webcam installation" appeared on my screen. I obviously installed it and it brought me to a black screen making me wait a long time. I the unplugged my power cord and when I go to turn on my PC. The "starting Microsoft" logo shows up, then goes to a black screen where it says the warning I listed above. It gives me to options, to either "start windows normally or start launch repair". I chose start windows normally first but all it would do is repeat the whole process of me turning on my PC again! Then I tried start launch repair and I plugged out the webcam USB but all it does us bring me to a black screen, making me wait for 1 minute and then brings me to a blue screen where only my mouse can move. I waited so long for something to appear on the screen but nothing happens. I then unplug the lower cord again and the whole process just repeats itself… Please tell me solutions and the problem I'm having I can't try any of the options when I press F1, F2, F8, F10 and F12. They all won't work. I also don't have a windows installation disk so there goes my only chance:/ best solution/answer gets 10 points please help a bro out
Windows has failed to start. A recent hardware or software change may have caused it?
First try this [works on a lot of black screens] While computer is on Pull cord out of wall socket and then Remove the Battery and Hold down Power Button for 30 seconds then Restart without Battery and if works put Battery back. If still same could be that Hard drive is stuffed, Try a chdsk scan Start computer as far as will go and then Right Click your c drive and click Properties and click Tools then under Error Checking click Check Now and set chdsk to do both scans on a Reboot. [ will check hard drive for any errors]
If still same may have to Reinstall Windows to fix it See if can get Command Prompt up and type in rstrui.exe and press enter on keyboard and that will take you to Recovery.
You have a problem, your windows 7 has crashed and you have No windows 7 install disk which you need to reinstall the operating system. You can't buy a windows 7 system install disk they don't sell them any more.
