Looking into buying a new computer. As most people, I'm looking for a higher performance computer; one the can run games average games, like: Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, and league of legends. I personally have no clue what I should get. Since I'm hoping to have this computer for a while, my I really don't have a budget, just something good though; $2,000. I realize with that kind of money, that i could even get a mac computer. What do you think?

It is your preference is all that matters. And pcs are not better than macs. Macs are powerful gaming and powerful creating. As they are this it makes them expensive. For a cheap computer that's good at gaming. Buy PC

For what you want, a PC is better than a Mac. You could possibly afford an Alienware laptop with that.

I'd go with Windows if you want more flexibility and you plan on doing a lot of gaming. You could also go with Mac if you prefer the simplicity and bundled programs.
Keep in mind that most Macs aren't too great with replacing/upgrading hardware and that makes them somewhat undesirable for gaming as a result.
