We're in kind of a rut. We've realized we've become kinda bored with each other and have succumbed to a routine. So we're trying to find multiplayer video games to spend time with each other and reconnect. We used to play Minecraft together, but became bored with it after several months.
Looking for new suggestions, preferably strategy games, building games, etc…
We'll look into any suggestion and see if it works for us.

For Strategy I would recommend Company of Heros, Age of empires (2 and 3), Sid Meier's Civilization V (The new Civilization is out it called beyond earth I haven't played it but it look good), Crusader Kings 2, Banished (most recommend), Tropico (4 and 5) and Planetary Annihilation.
For building type games well some i mentioned above are building/strategy well most of them but espicaly Tropico and banished and another game for building type games are Kerbel space program, Robocraft (witch is free), Space engineers (awesome for building and stuff) and terraria (terraria is like minecraft but 2D) really hopes this list of games help your marriage.

Ever think of having date nights? Go out and reconnect in the real world. Walk down hiking trials, walk the dog together, go to the movies, play frisbe or board games, go to a restaurant and reconnect over some drinks and a card game ect. You Don't have to be immersed in a video game to spend time together and connect. Be intimate, that's a great way to connect!
But anyway, if you play PlayStation, PS 2 has champions of narrath 1 and 2, both games are good for team play. Ps 3 has two souls which is an interesting game. PS 4 has assassins creed unity which will make an excellent coopt game when it releases.
For Xbox, halo is a good one, bit the Wii u kinda dominates for multiplayer games that you can play together. Mario party, spyro, the older Mario games, lo lo, and many other games are there.
thee are many online ones coming out now, like final fantasy games that are cross platform, so any of them would be good.
