So I'm a new player that has quit multiple times because it's way too confusing. Just some background info: I never played this genre of games before I only played FPS and minecraft before. All I know about this game is the very basic like kill enemies and destroy nexus and that's all. I even lose my character on the screen all the time when there's a group around me. It takes me like 5 seconds to find myself and I'm dead by then. And whenever I hit I do almost no damage but when others hit me they almost one shot me. Any help/suggestion?

I had this same problem. I went through the long process of downloading all of it, and once I started playing, I felt so confused about the whole thing and kept dying. I play a lot of games, so I'm not a noob. Still, I don't know what people see in that game. Heck, I personally think Runescape is more fun than that mess of a game.

Well as any other multiplayer game, league of legends can be tricky at first. What you can do:
1. Start playing with your friends (who are experienced) and ask them for advice.
2. You can play various roles in game (tank, mage, support, marksman and so on…) when you have played enough games choose your favorite role/champion and focus on that until you are bored or want to try something new.
3. Go to http://www.lolking.net/. You will find numerous guides for all champions in game. They are very helpful and by reading them you will learn even faster.
4. If you don't want to read guides go to http://www.twitch.tv/...%20Legends
you will find many professional players who stream their games. Watch how they play and try to pick some tricks and advice.
5. Be nice to other players so they are nice to you too. Believe me you will enjoy the game this way.
Last thing to be noted.
IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY GAMES YOU HAVE PLAYED BUT HOW MANY THINGS YOU HAVE LEARNED FROM THAT TIME.
