LAN connection sharing error?

I've been trying to play LAN games on minecraft (among other games) with people in my house, but we can't seem to connect to each other. For minecraft When they start a LAN world, I can't see it. When I start a LAN world, they can see it but can't connect. After searching, I figure that the issues was in the "Local Area Connection Status" properties. Under the sharing tab, the Internet Connection Sharing box is unticked. When I click it and try setting a home networking connection, it says the following:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled.

Internet Connection Sharing can't be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP addressing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know if this would help, but when I click the drop down menu under the checkbox, there are three networks:
"Wireless Network Connection"
"Wireless Network Connection 2"
"Hamachi"

Help would be greatly appreciated. Steps for solutions would be very helpful, and if you have questions that could help provide an answer then please ask. I will do my best to answer.

It's been awhile since I did a LAN game with Minecraft. If you installed the Minecraft server software correctly (see source below for exact details), the others, including yourself, should be able to connect.

Assuming you have the Minecraft server files installed, check the following:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed on your computer that will run the Minecraft server. You can do this by pressing the Windows key + R, then enter cmd and the command prompt box will open, and then type in: java -version It should say at least java version '1.7.0_45 (check with java.com to learn the latest version and if you have it).

2. Open up your server.properties file in your Minecraft server files and set online mode to "false."

3. Run the Minecraft server. Usually this is the Minecraft_Server.exe file. I remember right-clicking and running as Administrator. If it works so far, the default settings will load and say something like the "Spawn area is ready."

4. Connecting. To connect to the game for the person running the server computer, click "Multiplayer" and then type in the address: localhost or 127.0.0.1

5. Connecting other players. You will first need to know your computer's IP local address. This is easy to discover by opening up your command prompt window again, and in the black box area type in: ipconfig and look for any address with an IP address. Any IPv4, IPv6 or Default Gateway addresses should work fine. Give that address to those in the LAN party and they should then be able to connect to your computer.

Here's the information you need to setup the Minecraft server itself. Following the steps.
