Will it play GTA IV, minecraft and similar games?
What does re certified mean?
And is Gateway a good company that lasts for a long period of time with fairly heavy use, (YouTUbe, Face book, Internet browsing and gaming and turned on all day)
Is $489 too much, just right or am i getting a good deal here?
Is this desktop worth the $500 I'm about to spend on it?

Re-certified means it was either used or sent back to manufacturer at some point and reconditioned for resale. As far as it's price it's not bad but you must know it is not a gaming computer at all. It might run GTA IV at the very lowest settings and at that point its a blocky ugly mess. If you want to play games your going to need more cash.
