Is the ASUS X550CC good for Minecraft?

These are the specs:

Processor: Intel Core™ i5-3337U processor (1.8 GHz, 2.7 GHz with TurboBoost, 3 MB cache)
RAM: 6GB DDR3
Graphics card:NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M
Graphics card memory: 2 GB
Storage: 750 GB HDD, 5400 rpm

I wanted to know if this laptop would be good to run Minecraft smoothly and some other games like San Andreas Multiplayer.

Added (1). Also, if you think this laptop isn't that good, please say what you would recommend. I'm gonna use it primarily for school work while gaming frequently. Price has to be lower than £550

Yes more, way more than you need for those games, best thing is, go to www.game-debate.com and look at any game and underneath it type in those specs it will say how well it will run that game:
