I've been playing the demo of minecraft and my little bro saw me playing it and thought it looked fun so i let him play it. He enjoyed but it was only a demo so should i buy minecraft for him?
Is Minecraft good for kids?
Yes but be warned they will not get off…
Honestly, though there's a whole controversy whether this game is good or not, People say that it sucks because it has "bad" graphics, no story, no purpose, (a true gamer will not hold purpose or graphics against a game). In my personal opinion, Minecraft is perfect for all ages, it merely a sandbox and fantasy game meant to test out a persons creativity and imagination. That is why children have a lot of fun with it, adults have fun with it too, but some are ignorant and will judge a game by just looking at one picture. It is a good game for your brother. Though I'm not into it anymore, it was a lot of fun for me and my friends. Get it for your brother and Good Luck!
Yes, it's very fun and it keeps them quiet for hours if you need to relax, away from the loud screaming of little kids, especially your little brother.
Like Raphael said, Minecraft is perfect for anyone, and it is endless fun and a very hands-on, imaginative game. Your brother can build massive towers, fend off mobs, or generally just have the time of his life.
I believe that is whether you believe from your own personal experience it was good for him.
There's no blood in Minecraft, but you do have to kill animals to get things like food and wool. You also have to kill things like monsters to get other supplies (Monsters can be turned off by setting the games difficulty to Peaceful)
I would suggest going with Raphael's answer though, It sums up minecraft perfectly.
Yes, it teaches them how to build things. And it's educational http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/..._education
Yes and no. Yes because it teaches kids about building, and gives them a variety of things to do. No because you kill in mine craft, and it could teach kids to think that killing is OK.
